Take our Night Owl star gazing guide outside with you tonight to see how many stars you can identify.
Day 3
1. Identify the Stars
Stars come in different forms. Learn from sport, music, and movie stars with this quick activity.
3. Glitter Galaxy Bottle
Make a Glitter Galaxy bottle to practice meditation and breathing.
2. Star Cookies
Using one of the cook’s recipes from Camp Fun, mix up a batch of star cookies to share and enjoy with your family later today.
4. Sound Mapping
Try our sound mapping exercise at night to see what sounds you can identify without being able to see.
5. Superheroes Help the World
Next time you go grocery shopping with your family, ask if you can “Shop to share,” by getting an extra item or two to donate to your local food pantry.
4. Superheroes Help Their Friends
Encouraging words have tremendous power. Share a picture of the most amazing bit of nature in your yard (or draw a picture) and send it to another person.
3. Super Abilities
Build your superhero skills by practicing your aim. Stack recycled cans or plastic bottles and then try knocking them down with bean bags or a squirt gun.
2. Superheroes Help Their Families
How are you helping around the house? Have your family take a picture and post it on Camp Fun’s Facebook page. Check out what other campers have done.
1. Be a Superhero
If you could help others by being a superhero, who would you be? Use our patterns to design your own superhero mask.
